Presentations Part 2
Greetings, lovely readers! As we dive into another captivating week, join me as I unravel the highlights of our latest presentations.
Alison, Iliana, and I were the first to participate in
presenting Kinesthetic Intelligence. According to Gardner, there are
several distinct types of intelligence, each representing different ways that
people understand and interact with the world. One of those intelligences is
Kinesthetic, which is the ability to use the body skillfully to express ideas
and feelings, and to solve problems.
Characteristics:
·
Muscle memory
·
Body expression
·
Hand-on learning
·
Athletic ability
·
Manual Skills
·
Good hand-eye coordination
Some famous people with kinesthetic intelligence are
runner Usain Bolt, tennis player Serena Williams, and painter Pablo Picasso.
As a team, we did two activities where students could learn using their bodies. The first activity was to dance and follow commands and the second was to act out and guess a movie. I am sharing with you some videos:
Then, Xochilt, Madeleine, Cindy, and Sara presented Interpersonal Intelligence. This intelligence is all about understanding and
connecting with other people. It's about being great at communication,
empathizing with others, and being able to see things from their point of view.
Next, Kimberly, William, and Emanuel spoke about
Intrapersonal Intelligence. This intelligence is about understanding yourself,
your feelings, and your motivations. Also being aware of your strengths, weaknesses,
and how to manage them.
At the end of the week, Soad, Steffany, Thaís, and
Nayeli presented Naturalistic Intelligence. This intelligence is the ability to
understand and connect with nature and the natural world. It involves being
able to recognize and categorize plants, animals, and other elements of nature.
With this group, we engaged in an activity to
categorize waste, aiming to deepen our understanding of the purpose behind each
bin and the significance of their respective colors.
It has been a week filled with excitement and valuable
lessons. Until next time, take care and goodbye!
