Hello everyone!

 As the new semester begins, we're starting English Didactics II. We may not know what's ahead, but I hope it will be a great experience for all of us. Let's explore and learn together in this course!


This week, our professor introduced the syllabus for this semester, outlining the topics we'll cover, the activities we'll engage in, and the teaching methods that will be used. We also reviewed key concepts from last semester, which will be crucial for our progress in this course. 

What excites me most about English Didactics II is the focus on practical application rather than theoretical study. Too much theory can make the subject less engaging, so I'm looking forward to a semester where we can actively practice and apply what we've learned.




That concludes this week's update. As the semester progresses, I look forward to sharing more about the experiences and insights during this exciting journey.

Welcome to my blog!  I am Genesis Vasquez, and I will share my journey through learning English Didactics. I am currently a fifth-year student of Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador.   Hello, everyone! I will share with you what we learned this week. The Kolb´s Experiential Learning Cycle David Kolb's theory of experiential learning suggests that learning happens in a cycle with four stages: experiencing something directly, reflecting on the experience, forming abstract ideas based on the experience, and then testing these ideas in new situations. He believes that learning begins with actually doing something or having a direct experience. 1.      Concrete Experience: This stage involves learners experiencing something new or engaging in practical activities.
