The Importance of Planning

 Welcome to this week's blog!

Organization and planning play a crucial role in every aspect of our lives. By staying organized, we set ourselves up for success and make it easier to achieve our goals.

This week, we're diving into the importance of planning and how it can help us reach our objectives more effectively.

To grasp the significance of planning in the classroom, we reflected on questions such as:

·        How did you envision your life when you were 18 years old?

·        If you have achieved your aims, tell me what you did in order to stick to your original plan.

·        How important do you think lesson planning is in terms of education?

·        If you could rate planning from 0 to 10, being 10 the highest grade, what score would you assign it?

All the students' responses highlighted key points, such as the importance of planning to maintain order and control in the classroom. However, they also agreed that there are moments when flexibility is essential, allowing time to address necessary aspects beyond the original agenda.

How much should we plan?

If you don't plan, people might think you're not reliable as a teacher. But if you plan everything down to the smallest detail, it can seem like you’re not flexible. The best approach is to find a middle ground: plan to be prepared but stay open to making changes when needed.

That's it for this week. Thanks so much for reading my blog!
