Hello and welcome!  In this blog, we’ll explore how to improve your listening skills through everyday greetings and introductions, helping you better understand and respond in real-life conversations. OUR CLASS Greetings and Introductions - Listening comprehension   Our recent group presentation aimed to create an engaging and educational experience for our classmates. We kicked things off with a lively warm-up session that lasted 5 to 7 minutes, designed to get everyone in the right mindset for learning. Afterward, I took the lead in introducing some useful vocabulary that would be essential for the activities that followed.  Our main activity involved watching a carefully selected video, where students had to listen attentively and answer questions through a multiple-choice worksheet.   Hello everyone, I hope your week has been blessed. Welcome to this week's blog. This week officially kicked off the semester, and we had the honor of welcoming a group of special guests who will be immersed in learning English over the next few months. The class has been divided into several work groups, and each week, two groups will be responsible for leading lessons and guiding our new students through various topics. Regina's and William's groups were the first to step up, setting a vibrant tone for the rest of the semester. Regina's group kicked off the teaching sessions this week with the topic " Introducing Yourself ".  They explored the importance of introductions and why we do it: to connect with others, make a strong first impression, and open up conversations.   Welcome back! This week, we dive into the importance of receptive skills in language learning. These skills—listening and reading—are essential for anyone looking to learn English with fluency. Receptive skills allow you to understand and process information, forming the basis for successful communication in any language. In our class, we discussed effective strategies that teachers can use to help students improve these skills. From active listening exercises to guided reading activities, we explored various methods educators can implement to enhance learners' comprehension. At the beginning of the class, we read an article about what people eat in Barcelona to assess the student's reading comprehension and information retention.
